CLP18 - Improving Knowledge Retention: The 8Flow Method w/ BJJ Moses
My guest today is Gene Cook, Jr., also known in the jiu jitsu community as "BJJ Moses" who is a Carlson Gracie Black Belt and a BJJ Gym owner in Temecula, California. Retaining information is one of the biggest problems for new students of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and virtually all other martial arts. This cascades into sparring where students often find themselves drowning and confused as a result. To remedy this problem for his students, Gene developed a method he calls 8Flow 1.0 that provides a schematic understanding of jiu-jitsu to flatten its notoriously steep learning curve.
